Navigating work and life gracefully takes time and patience. Here are the takeaways from our last event:

  • Make peace with what didn’t work out for you.
  • Find your me time. Even if it’s 5 minutes!
  • Gain a new perspective about your situation. It’s not all bad.

  • Volunteer your time to gain perspective on your life.
  • Find advocates or people you trust at work to support you as you navigate what you’re going through.
  • Trust your intuition. You know yourself and your worth!
  • Give yourself grace at work and in your personal life.
  • Your trauma will always be there, but with time the goal is to make it quieter
  • Embrace the duality of life. You can be grieving and still find joy.
  • Stick with a routine. This helps when dealing with tough challenges.
  • If something is not right, if it is bothering you or stealing your joy, say something.
  • Don’t pretend everything is all right.
  • If your job isn’t making you better and actually making you sick, it’s time to move on.
